28th January 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 9ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Mainly cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: A nice session, mostly well powered with my 5.7m and big board. A little underpowered to start with but still able to get going and hold my ground upwind. Once going the wind was fairly steady so keeping going was OK. The wind soon filled in though and the going got good. Impi and I first headed off to Borth then all the way up to the lagoons around the bar where we stayed for some flat water blasting before heading back towards the car park. Well powered up by the end, if not a little over-powered. Lots of kitesurfers out enjoying the wind as well. |
